“Palais Stéphanie” is now “JW Marriott Cannes”
We are delighted to announce that the congress venue of the 5-Continent-Congress has experienced a name change - the Palais Stéphanie is now
“JW Marriott Cannes”.

The JW Marriott Cannes is located in the heart of Cannes on La Croisette just steps away from the beach with breathtaking view over the Bay of Cannes and the Lerins Islands. The hotel recently completed a renovation to the 261 rooms and suites now featuring modern design and amenities, a refurbished rooftop swimming pool with Jacuzzis, two restaurants, a casino, 820-seat auditorium and flexible meeting space.



The bright and spacious 261 rooms and suites have been completely renovated and now feature richly stitched leather accents, upholstered walls in sophisticated shades of chocolate and dramatic black and white portraits of iconic film stars. Rooms have also been upgraded with flat screen TVs, high-speed Internet access, mini bars, bathrooms with shower and bathtub, office area, king-size beds (twins available upon request). Some suites have private terraces.

Swimming Pool: The lively rooftop scene offers a refurbished heated swimming pool and Jacuzzis adjacent to the panorama Bar. The pool is open year round from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. Upon request the hotel provides sun beds, private cloakrooms and showers.

Beach: The hotel has convenient access to one of the city´s famous sandy beaches just steps away and provides food and beverage beach service for guests while lounging on one of the many luxurious sun beds.

Casino: JW Marriott Cannes offers an in-house casino with 150 slot machines,
19 gaming tables and VIP lounges.



The hotel is located in the coveted center of La Croisette on the waterfront in the heart of Cannes. JW Marriott Cannes also sits on the original Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, where the first Cannes Film Festivals were held until the new Palais des Festivals was inaugurated 1983. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the old city, Palais des Festivals et des Congrès and the old port and approximately 18 miles (30 minutes by car) away from the Nice International Airport with access to taxis and shuttle service. Guests are also less than a mile from the Cannes TGV train station for convenient travel within Cannes and other destinations.
