The 5-Continent-Congress is comprised of an international group of highly acclaimed dermatologists and plastic surgeons who are key opinion leaders in their fields. Since the first edition in 2009, the 5CC has been recognized internationally as one of the top conferences dedicated to innovations and controversies in the field of medical and aesthetic dermatology. In four days and 65+ sessions, the scientific program covers all the many facets of medical dermatology; injectables for aesthetic and medical use; cosmetic and aesthetic energy-based devices; aesthetic gynecology; practice management and digital marketing.

2.6 WHAT IS THE OFFICIAL MEETING LANGUAGE AND DO YOU OFFER SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION?
The official language of the meeting is English. Simultaneous translation to Spanish will be provided on all days in all lecture rooms. Simultaneous translation to Russian will be provided on all days in selected lecture rooms. Translation receivers and headphones for the translations are available free of charge at the rental station on Level P1 (between rooms 112 and 111). Kindly note that a deposit will be held until the return of the translation sets.
2.7 CAN I BUY FOOD AND BEVERAGES AT THE CONFERENCE?
Sure. The 5CC cafeteria offering food and beverages will be open during all conference days in the foyer or in the industry exhibition.
2.8 ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE CONFERENCE AND DO YOU OFFER CHILD CARE?
5CC is kid-friendly, however, children are allowed in the foyer and exhibition only, not in scientific session rooms. We do not offer child care- please ask the concierge at your hotel for options.

2.10 WHAT TO WEAR FOR THE MEETING?
We suggest business casual attire for the meeting. Please bring also a sweater or jacket, as the air condition will be running during the conference.
2.11 CAN I TAKE PICTURES AND VIDEOS DURING THE SESSIONS?
No! Recording, photography and filming during the sessions is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the congress organization. In consideration of other attendees, we kindly ask you to put you cell phone in a silent mode during all sessions, symposia and live-sessions.

3.5 WHAT IS 5CC ON AIR?
5CC ON AIR is our web-based learning tool for education in advanced aesthetic and medical dermatology. It is an exclusive offer for delegates and faculty of the 5CC. Your participation in the meeting will give you unlimited online access to presentations, videos and abstracts of the conference. Enjoy free and unlimited lifetime access to the 5CC 2019 content and never miss a lecture again!
3.6 DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?
We do offer discounts for groups of at least five delegates. Please contact hannah_wolff(at)logi-vent.de for prices, terms and conditions.
3.7 IS IT POSSIBLE TO VISIT THE EXHIBITION ONLY?
Sorry, there is no “exhibition-only”-pass available. To gain access to the exhibition hall, you must at least purchase a day ticket.
3.8 WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT FOR DELEGATE REGISTRATIONS?
Using the online registration, we accept credit card payment (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). No additional credit card fees apply for delegate fees. For on-site registrations, we accept cash (Euro) and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express).
3.9 WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY FOR DELEGATE REGISTRATIONS?
Upon registration for 5CC, you accept the following cancellation policy: We will refund 80% of the participation fee with a € 30 processing fee, if written cancellation reaches Logi-Vent GmbH before April 30, 2019. We will refund 50% of the participation fee with a € 30 processing fee, if cancellation reaches Logi-Vent GmbH before July 31, 2019. No refunds from August 1, 2019. Name changes are possible with a € 30 processing fee until July 31, 2019. No name changes are possible after August 1, 2019.
3.10 WHAT IF I DID NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION LETTER AFTER MY REGISTRATION?

3.11 HOW CAN I GET AN INVITATION LETTER?
International participants please contact carina_schorling(at)logi-vent.de to request an invitation letter. Once you have your letter of invitation, you need to apply for your visa. Delegates are responsible for making their own arrangements for getting a visa and are urged to contact their nearest embassy or consulate as early as possible to determine where they should apply and to inquire on the length of time expected to complete the visa process.
In the case that your visa is being declined, we do not offer refunds of the of the registration fee, but will gladly apply the registrations towards the next 5CC conference.

More than 1,300 KOLs, surgeons, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, physicians, specialists, clinical practitioners and registered nurses from around the globe will attend this high-level medical meeting.
4.4 HOW DO YOU ENSURE CONTINUOUS FREQUENTING OF THE BOOTHS IN THE INDUSTRY EXHIBITION?
The industry exhibition and lecture rooms will be located on the same floor, ensuring short distances for the delegates. Complimentary coffee breaks for delegates, faculty and industry as well as the cafeteria, offering warm lunch in the industry exhibition, will ensure continuous frequenting of the booths.

4.6 HOW WILL BOOTH SPACES BE ASSIGNED?
Exhibition booths are limited and will therefore be allocated on a first come first served basis. Mobile booths will be allocated at the discretion of the organizer. Organizers reserve the right to change the layout and allocation of booths should the need arise. Exhibitors will be notified if this becomes necessary. Confirmed spaces may also be released without prior notification if the exhibitor fails to settle any invoice in due time. Please download the most current floor plan here.
4.7 WHAT ARE THE SET-UP AND DISMANTLING DATES/TIMES AND CONFERENCE KEY DATES?
Tentative set-up, dismantling and exhibition times can be found in the following. Please note that this is a tentative schedule only. All times are to be confirmed in the Technical Manual, which will be available in May 2019.
4.8 DOES MY EXHIBITOR BADGE GRANT ACCESS TO THE SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS?
Yes, unlike other conferences, we gladly invite our industry partners and corporate professionals to join the scientific sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No access, however, will be granted to the Residents & Fellows Day and the teaching courses on Thursday. For more information, please refer to section 3.4 WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY REGISTRATION FEE?

5.2 DO YOU OFFER SHUTTLES FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CCIB?
Sorry, we will not be offering hotel shuttles to the CCIB as most hotels are in walking distance.
5.3 DO YOU OFFER TOURS FOR MY ACCOMPANYING PERSON(S)?

5.4 ARE THERE ANY EVENING EVENTS PLANNED DURING THE CONFERENCE?
An invitation is extended to conference delegates, faculty and industry partners to attend the opening get-together of the 11th 5CC meeting in the industry exhibition. Socialize with your colleagues from around the globe and meet the industry partners who support our meeting, as we welcome you to Barcelona. Small bites and chilled drinks will be served. Open to all attendees. No RSVP required.
6.1 IS 5CC ACCREDITED FOR CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME)?
5CC is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) to provide the CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). For more information please visit the UEMS website.
6.2 HOW MANY CME CREDITS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE 11TH 5CC?
Accreditation for the 11th 5CC in 2019 has been applied for from the UEMS-EACCME. Recent 5CC meetings were granted up to 27 European CME credits (ECMEC®). More information can be found on the CME Credits subpage.
6.3 HOW DO I CLAIM CME?
All attendees are obliged to check-in once they access a session and to check-out upon exiting the session rooms. CME credits will be granted for visited (= attendance at least 60 minutes) sessions only! In order to receive your CME credits and certificates, you need to complete the online evaluation after 5CC. Upon completion of the survey, you will receive a link to download your certificates. In order to obtain your CME credits, please contact your national authorities in your country of residency to validate the European CME credits and to convert them to your national CME credits. Afterwards, please send your certificate of attendance to your national authorities.
7.1 I AM AN INVITED SPEAKER AT 5CC- DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE CONGRESS?
As an invited speaker, you are automatically registered for the congress and your delegate fee will gladly be covered. Faculty badges will be pre-printed and ready for pick-up at the registration desk beginning on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 15.00h. Avoid long lines and pick up your badge early!
We will publish the abstracts of lectures from our faculty in the 5CC Abstract Journal. If you’d like to have yours included, please send the abstract of each accepted lecture (max. 300 words as MS-Word document) to hannah_wolff(at)logi-vent.de by May 31, 2019.
7.3 HOW AND WHERE CAN I SUBMIT MY PRESENTATION(S)?
We’d be happy to receive your presentation(s) via email to olaf_struempler(at)video-art.de up to four weeks before the 5CC meeting. If you prefer to submit your presentation(s) at the speakers’ ready room (media check) on-site, please make sure to do so at least 1.5 hours before your lecture.
7.4 WHO CAN ANSWER TECHNICAL/GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT MY LECTURE OR 5CC ON-SITE?

8.1 WHO CAN SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT FOR THE 5CC ABSTRACT AWARD?
The organizers invite scientists, clinicians and researchers to submit their abstract(s) for the 5CC Abstract Award. Abstracts from industry representatives will not be considered for the 5CC Abstract Award and the financial price.
8.2 WHICH TOPICS CAN BE COVERED?

The best abstract on each topic will receive a certificate and a financial prize of € 1.000.
8.4 MY ABSTRACT WAS ACCEPTED FOR THE “FREE COMMUNICATION: ABSTRACT AWARD” SESSION OR THE POSTER SESSION- DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE CONGRESS TO PRESENT?
Yes, presenters for the 5CC Abstract Award are not being considered as faculty and have to register for the congress in advance. Only abstracts from registered 5CC delegates will be considered for presentation.
8.5 WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND WHAT ELSE NEEDS TO BE CONSIDERED?
The abstract submission deadline is May 31, 2019; the abstract evaluation deadline is June 30, 2019. Please make sure to be fully familiar with the abstract formalities and terms & conditions before sending an abstract- incomplete abstracts or abstracts with formal errors will not be considered!
