Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Accreditation for the 9th 5CC in 2018 has been applied for from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). For more information please visit the UEMS website.

Recent 5CC meetings were granted 18 – 24 European CME credits (ECMEC). A maximum of 6 European CME Credits (ECMEC) will be granted for a full-day attendance and 3 for half day. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

All attendees are obliged to check-in once they access a session and to check-out upon exiting the session rooms. CME credits will be granted for visited (= attendance at least 60 minutes) sessions only!

In order to receive your CME credits and certificates, you need to complete the online evaluation after 5CC. Upon completion of the survey, you will receive a link to download your certificates. In order to obtain your CME credits, please contact your national authorities in your country of residency to validate the European CME credits and to convert them to your national CME credits. Afterwards, please send your certificate of attendance to your national authorities.
